Founded in 1990, Partner Tech Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the parent company) is a Taipei-based manufacturer, specialized in producing commercial-use POS system with open-style architecture, mobile POS, RFID handheld terminals, self-serve terminals (Kiosk), lottery terminals, digital signage and POS peripherals. So far, the parent company has achieved a number of firsts worldwide in the aspect of POS-related innovation, for example, the first all-in-one POS with an integrated printer, the first compact touch terminal, the first to develop POS technology with no fan adopted that minimizes damage to internal components from dust and dirt, and the first POS base enabling the parent company’s tablet to expand its functionality for retail use.

In 2014, Partner Tech Corporation joined Qisda Group, which became the largest shareholder of Partner Tech Corporation via strategic investment. Ever since 2017, Partner Tech Corporation has been formally a member of the conglomerate, which comprises Qisda, AUO and BenQ.
