What is "heated non-burning tobacco products"?

The so-called "heated non-burning tobacco products" is not the same as traditional electronic cigarettes. In the traditional sense, electronic cigarettes use specific devices to heat smoke oil to generate fog and meet peoples smoking demand.

The "heated non-combustion tobacco product" refers to heating a solid cigarette using a specific device to obtain tobacco aroma, but does not ignite the tobacco leaf, hence the name "heating does not burn".

Under normal circumstances, ordinary cigarettes in the suction of 350 & deg; C to 600 & deg; C high temperatures will produce a large number of harmful substances, and low-temperature cigarettes are below 300 & deg; C, harmful substances will be greatly reduced.

In terms of emissions, the amount of e-cigarette emissions is 8% for conventional cigarettes and only 5% for heating non-burning tobacco products. From the perspective of cytotoxicity, electronic cigarettes account for only 9% of traditional cigarettes, and heating non-burning tobacco products accounts for 14% of conventional cigarettes.

However, from the perspective of satisfaction, the fog produced by electronic cigarettes cannot be compared with “heated non-combustion tobacco products”. Therefore, the IQOS heating non-combustion tobacco products were quickly popularized in the Japanese market once they were put into operation.

The most common "heated non-burning tobacco products" currently on the market are Philip Morris Internationals IQOS, Japan Tobaccos PLoom, Renault Tobaccos Revo, and British American Tobaccos Glo.

However, these tobacco products were circulated through non-normal channels such as “quietly entering the village and the customs’ non-compliance”, which greatly damaged national interests and consumer interests.

Therefore, the State Bureau announced that from July 1st this year, the management of heating non-combustion tobacco products will be strengthened. Once discovered, it will be seized.

The bosses who have picked up the goods must pay attention!
