In addition to the absence of relevant permits, taxi “convenience stores” are called for security reasons. First of all, the stability of the shelves behind the front seats of the taxis is insufficient. If there is sudden braking, etc., the goods on the shelves are likely to fly out. Secondly, the position of the shelf is basically in the driver’s visual blind spot. If someone has moved the food on the shelf, there is a great risk to the passengers who buy the food afterwards.
According to reports, the taxi "convenience store" is a cooperation between Haibo and a third-party company. Whether it is set up is mainly determined according to the driver’s own wishes. The driver can make 15% of the sales amount, and it is said that the monthly income can be increased by three or four hundred yuan. The Shanghai Food and Drug Administration said that the regulatory authorities have always adopted an "inclusive and prudent" attitude toward the new format of food production and management. As long as they adhere to the bottom line of food safety and non-interference laws and regulations, they will not easily say no. It is gradually incorporated into the license management on the premise of fully assessing the relevant risks.
