CHINASHOP 2017 will open from November 2nd to 4th at the Chongqing International Expo Center, concurrently with the China National Retail Conference, the largest and most authoritative retail conference in China , where participants discuss developments taking place across the retail industry and draw up a blueprint for the future of retail with the world’s top equipment manufacturers and technology providers.

US-based A.T. Kearney ranked the top developing countries for retail investment in the 2017 Global Retail Development Index (GRDI). China , India , Malaysia , the United Arab Emirates , Vietnam andIndonesia were on the list of the world’s top 10 retail markets, demonstrating the huge potential seen in the Asian retail sector.

Today, retailers need to enhance their operations across the board so that   changes and upgrades are evident to anyone who shops in   store. It’s not just selling affordably-priced quality goods but also making the necessary equipment and technology upgrades within the stores.

Compared with   counterparts in Asia , CHINASHOP is the top retail exhibition in the region in terms of size of the exhibition area, the number of exhibitors and onsite events, with a   90,000 square meter event being planned for 2017. The world’s top 800 manufacturers covering the gamut from retail equipment to technologies, commercial design, cold chain logistics and featured commodities will attend this exhibition, including Wanzl, IBM, Honeywell, Datalogic, Panasonic, Haier, iBoxPay, Shanyuang, Yongguan and Xiongdi. The exhibitors plan to showcase tens of thousands of excellent products and solutions   , including storage racks, handcarts, shopping baskets, refrigerators, POS devices, mobile payment systems, management software, self-service cashiers, RFID, lighting and shop decors. They will also seek partners from all over the world at the exhibition, helping Asian retailers improve store management  to better grasp the opportunities being made available as a result of the transformation taking place across the retail industry.

CHINASHOP 2017 expects more than 50,000 professional visitors from all over the world, 40 percent of whom will be from retailing operations and nearly 60 percent in management roles or higher or will have decision-making authority.
