1. Evolution of the consumption structure of non-durable goods in the United States
 
In terms of total volume, the proportion of US residents consumption in non-durable goods has been declining for a long time, from 37.1% in 1964 to 25.0% in 1992, with an average annual decline of 0.4 percentage points. Since then, it has gradually stabilized and accounted for 2017. The ratio is still 21.1%, with an average annual decline of less than 0.2 percentage points.
 
2. Evolution of the consumption structure of durable goods in the United States
 
In terms of total volume, the proportion of durable goods consumption in the United States has generally declined, from 14.5% in 1964 to 12.9% in 1983, and then stabilized at around 13% in 2005. Since 2006, it has declined to 2009. 10.4% of the year, then rebounded and stabilized at the current 11%.
 
3. Evolution of US service consumption structure
 
The proportion of US resident service consumption has continued to increase over the past half-century, from 48.4% in 1964 to 57.4% in 1983 to 67.9% in 2017.
