Nearly 300 stores jointly shaped by Suning.com & RT-Mart opened synchronously nationwide

On Aug. 17th, 2018, the store format, based on the cooperation launch of the two sides Suning.Com & RT-Mart, greeted its largest store opening boom in both number and scale. By 4 p.m. on the day, the sales volume generated in the contemporary store format had increased 600% in comparison with that produced in its previous store format during the same period in the last year. More remarkably, the single store in current format had increased by 970% year-on-year.

It is learned that the powerful alliance between the two giants Suning and RT-Mart will definitely combine Suning’s strengths in supply chain resources and operation mode with RT-Mart’s advantage in market channels. Suning.Com introduced its well-developed O2O (online to offline) operational technology products such as “Message Delivery Across 5KM” and “Goldmine” into the store jointly shaped by Suning.com & RT-Mart. Suning Quick Repair and Suning Clients Help will rely on their one-stop after-sales services to bring all-around services to the members of the store based on the cooperation of Suning.com & RT-Mart. Moreover, Suning’s 30365 promises (a guarantee of goods returning within 30 days and goods replacing within 365 days) make consumers well-assured to buy the products in the format-based store.

 

As the director in charge of the RT-Mart project from Suning Electronics Co., Ltd told the reporter, “Upon the upgrade, RT-Mart’s 3C area for home appliance shares the supply chain of Suning home appliance, thereby gaining great improvement in the aspects of products operation, price advantage, service ability and after-sales service. Meanwhile, the consumers purchased home appliance in RT-Mart stores can enjoy the same service provided by Suning.com.”

 

On June 21st, the two sides announced their cooperation; till August 18th, there were roughly 300 stores opening to the public on the basis of their joint strong resources, which highlighting Suning.com’s Ultra Speed in its strategy of intelligent retail development. It is reported that among the stores opened during the period around August 18th, 5 stores took the lead in introducing an Interactive Black Technology – the machine for evaluating facial appearance.

 

Based on the technology used for face identification and comparison, the machine for evaluating facial appearance is able to achieve the interaction with human beings. The users only need to stand in front of the machine, the interactive data is synchronously calculated at the backstage, and the result based on the interaction will be displayed on the screen of the machine. Aside from ranking the users according to the corresponding facial scores, the technology is able to display the information about the users’ age and gender as well as the information about the stars possessing facial resemblance with the specific users. Upon facial scoring, the coupon with different discount quota will be automatically generated for the users.


From August 17th to August 18th, nearly 300 stores jointly shaped by Suning.com & RT-Mart opened simultaneously nationwide. The cooperation between the two sides has continued to deepen, allowing the consumers in RT-Mart to experience the new shopping experience brought by Suning.com; meanwhile, more “surprises” will bring to consumers.
