Appian Delivers No-code Integration to Automation Anywhere for End-to-End Intelligent Automation (sourced from Tech World)

Appian, a leader in low-code application development, today announced availability of a no-code integration between Appian and Automation Anywhere, a leading robotic process automation (RPA) platform. The Connected System integration is immediately available on the Appian AppMarket. It enables Appian users to quickly build business applications that leverage Automation Anywhere’s software bots, resulting in improved efficiency and performance.

UK-based psKINETIC uses both technologies in its customised patient/customer referral and case management solutions. “Integrating human and robotic workflows is transformational for business outcomes,” said Ingolv Urnes, CEO of psKINETIC. “In addition to getting a single view of the customer/patient and delivering a better user experience, we have automated over 95% of admin tasks and reduced lapsed time by over 70%. Increasing the speed and ease with which developers can build such solutions, and simplifying operational management of a digital workforce, are key to value.”

Organisations want to excel in customer experience and operational efficiency, but fractured IT environments are a roadblock. Automation Anywhere bots automate manual, repetitive, human tasks. They can overcome integration challenges with hard-to-connect legacy systems, and complete data read and update processes with speed and accuracy that humans simply cannot match.

Appian’s low-code platform uses visual design instead of complex coding to accelerate application development up to 20 times faster. Appian applications manage business processes end-to-end, orchestrating and optimising interactions between people, systems, and software robots. The collaboration with Automation Anywhere brings the human and digital workforce together to unlock exceptional value through improved accuracy, efficiency, and speed.

“Enterprises today seek to improve customer experiences and operational performance, but often struggle as a result of legacy systems and inflexible technology approaches,” said Malcolm Ross, Vice President of Product at Appian. “Automation Anywhere’s RPA capabilities work together with Appian’s leading low-code platform to enable organisations to align their robotic workforce with overall business processes and applications. The result is faster innovation, more efficient processes, and better business outcomes.”
