With China’s retail industry poised for a strong recovery, CHINASHOP helps participants access the country’s retail market

CHINASHOP 2017 will open from November 2nd to 4th at the Chongqing Expo Center, concurrently with the China National Retail Congress, the largest and most authoritative conference, where participants can learn the latest trends in technology development the most pressing needs facing Chinese retail operators. 

According to report on the China’s top 100 retailers from CCFA, they booked $US 305 billion in sales in 2016, a 4.3% year-on-year growth. They managed 111,000 outlets, which averaged 4.7% year-on-year growth. CCFA and Deloitte & Touche recently also published the results that 60% of the shopkeepers are optimistic or cautiously optimistic about  their business in 2017,and 39% have set growth goals for  exceeding 10%.Some expect to see a 5%-10% increase. It’s foreseeable that retailing in China will enter a new era of prosperity, followed by a major increase in retails, and the needs of importing product.

For  the attempt at online applications and solutions  including mobile payments,  online social interaction as well as online and offline integration, Chinese retailers are in the front ranks. Furthermore, Chinese-made point-of-sale and other tools that aid in the retail process are also welcomed by retailers worldwide. For example, leading Advantech’s E-POS has been adopted by the franchise operations like Wendy’s and SUBWAY in multiple countries across southeast Asia; Counectis providing integration solutions for JTC’s 13 duty-free shops in Japan and France-based Club Med’s retail outlets .

Compared with EuroShop, JapanShop and Globalshop, as the most professional retail exhibition in China, Chinashop2017 is expected to reach 90 thousand square meters, where thousands of providers to the retail trade will present tens of thousands of products and services covering the gamut from point-of-sale equipment and cold chain management to commercial design and a wide array of other technologies and solutions.
