711 convenience stores can sell anything no matter what they sell
What cross-border did you do?
1.Sevenbank
Sevenbank is an early attempt at 7-Eleven crossover. In 2001, 7-Eleven launched its banking business, IY BANK, using the space of the 7-Eleven convenience store, operating at a custom ATM costing only a quarter of the other banks at the time. From the beginning of the question to the profit, IY BANK took less than three years. After the restructuring of the group in 2005, IY BANK was renamed Sevenbank. Today, at the 7-Eleven convenience store in Japan, the use of Sevenbank’s ATM has become commonplace in the public.
2.Seven Café
Since 2010, 7-Eleven has carried out a large-scale rebranding of his brand under the leadership of his artistic director Sato Kesho. Sato Keshi changed the design related to more than 1,700 brand images. In the second year, 7-Eleven started to promote his own brand, and in the third year, he launched Seven Café. The new design with black and white ash as the main visual and yet style has made the products like consumers’ appreciation and choice, which greatly enhances the desire to purchase. In this context, Seven Café quickly became the top coffee distributor in Japan.
At the beginning of 2018, 7-Eleven opened a 24-hour beauty makeup convenience store in Taiwan. Unlike the previous cross-border, this time, instead of using the store-in-shop model, the products were placed directly in the 7-Eleven store. Instead, it is a joint store with K. Seren, a beauty sales channel owned by Uni-President Group, which has a permanent license from 7-Eleven Taiwan.
4. Fitness compound convenience store
The first stop of this crossover is still in Taiwan. Not long ago, 7-Eleven teamed up with BEING fit gymnasium to open the first sports complex store in the mixed business district of the residence and business office near the Tiangong Palace in Songjiang Road, Taipei. The store has a 7-Eleven convenience store on the 1st floor and a BEING fit gym on the 2nd floor, covering an area of approximately 165 square meters. The gym is divided into four functional areas: a weight training area, a free training area, a multi-functional training area, and an aerobic training area. The store also offers a large lounge and dining area.
BEING fit is the first gym in Taiwan to pay for the icash e-ticket. The charging mode is based on a single billing, and the icash card is used to sense the arrival and deduction, and the points accumulated in 7-Eleven can be exchanged for the fitness time. BEINGfit is more flexible and convenient than the annual fee paid by the traditional gym.
