Traditional Shangchao is making a face-lift. Beginning in January 2018, traditional retail giant Carrefour teamed up with Tencent to carry out digital upgrades and transformations, and actively cooperated with Tencent in seven major sectors including big data, drainage, and new formats. For more than half a year, from the opening of the world’s first smart store “Le Marché” to participating in the Cannes Creative Festival to showcase the new retail formats to the world, Carrefour China has repeatedly created a benchmark for the retail industry, with a bright answer to the recent spread of Carrefour. The rumors of withdrawing from China have not broken.
