BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- China has become the world's largest e-tailing market for 11 consecutive years, said Shuang Juting, spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), at a regular press conference on 11 January.

According to retail fair, the E-Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China was implemented for five years. We have created a Silk Road E-commerce Cooperation Pioneer Zone in Shanghai, expanded the opening up of e-commerce, and created a new high ground for international cooperation in the digital economy. Thirteen of the 22 FTAs signed by China include e-commerce content. The E-Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China and Internet justice have been included in the APEC public policy casebook of Chinese practices.

Third, the regulatory system is getting better. Based on the E-Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce and other departments have made concerted efforts in the areas of planning, policies and standards by issuing the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of E-Commerce" and issuing industry standards such as the "Evaluation Norms for E-Commerce Corporate Integrity Profiles" and the "Norms for the Management of Live E-Commerce Platforms and Services", and have made efforts to guide the industry. According to retail fair, it has also issued industry standards such as the Code for Evaluation of Integrity File of E-Commerce Enterprises and the Code for Management and Service of Live E-Commerce Platforms, and has endeavoured to guide the industry to regulate its healthy development.
