At the beginning of 2024, China Chain Store Franchise Association conducted a thorough investigation on the operation of 43 regional supermarket chain sample enterprises in 2023, involving more than 10,000 stores. According to the statistical results, in 2023, the development of regional supermarket chains has made steady progress. Among them, the performance of regional star enterprises such as Xinyulou department stores, Henan Dazhang, Hubei Yasi, Sunshine, Xiamen Sungiven is more prominent. At the same time, the overall confidence of enterprises has been restored, and the development strategy of more than half of enterprises has changed from consolidating the existing market in 2023 to cultivating the regional market in 2024. It is reported that 40% of the total sales of enterprises have increased year on year, and half of the performance growth of enterprises comes from the growth of comparable stores, that is, the improvement of the level of store operation.
